In the studio on April 5, 2009

I've been working on a series of very small works; here's an example of one. I've made four so far, and like them so much that I'm going to keep going with them.

They are 4" H x 8" W, acrylic on paper, fabric and canvas, on cradled boards.

I am also thinking of adding layers of spray paint and/or pastel lines into the mix.

Exploring tension and movement

Here is a new piece I've been working on over the past few days. It's 50" high and 30" wide, acrylic on canvas. I'm continuing with this theme of tension and movement with line, adding the appearance of physical dimension.
